Breeding cannabis plant

A possibility is there to select cuttings and bred those plants so that are able to mature, flower, and grow at a faster rate. Certain cannabis plants are naturally able to perform better in this process. It is often quite easy to select not just the plants that are more potent for the cloning or breeding process, but also the fastest flowering and glowing plants. Source the plants able to enjoy the fastest rate of growth and have them bred with the favoured males for optimal results. Cloning the best, fastest high plants to achieve a first rate monocrop garden. For the long-term this cloning process is certain to eliminate much of the waiting time for the plants to mature. 

Once a male starts to flower, which is often in the region of two to four weeks prior to the female, it needs removing from the females to avoid pollinating them. Relocate to a different area. Any area that is able to get at least two or three hours of light each day is certain to be ideal. Place a tray or cloth underneath the flower to help with catching the pollen as it starts to fall.

Aim to keep a male available for use indefinitely by severely bending the top and placing in mild shock to help with delaying its ability to mature. Alternatively, it is possible to remove the tops at the stage of maturity and placed those branches in glass of water with a solid surface underneath, like glass or a metal sheet. Each morning shake the branches in an attempt to loosen the pollen which drops onto the sheet below. Now scrape up the pollen with a knife or similar object. Switch off the fans. A paper bag is effective tool in the process of pollinating a branch taken from the female plant. Gather pollen on separate branches off different male plants. Close the opening of the bag around the chosen branch. Give the bag a good shake. Pick up the paper bag after one or two minutes and wet it with a suitable sprayer and remove. Also, use a plastic bag with the ability to close. Place the bag on top of the male branch and gently move side to side to allow the pollen to loosen. Gently lift out the bud and close it. You should now find a stem which is coated with pollen. To help in the pollinating stage, position it over one of the branches of the female plants and zip up the plastic bag so that it covers the stem and make certain none of the pollen is able to escape. Carefully hold the stem and bag and give a shake. Give sufficient time to settle, which is in the region of one or two hours, and follow up with a further shake. It can be removed after a couple of hours. A branch stem should now be seriously pollinated and able to show the first signs of the growth in a period of 14 days; mature seeds able to split the calyxes within three to six weeks. A pollinated branch is able to hold literally hundreds of seeds, so you'll likely find that one of two pollinated branches is sufficient for your needs. 

In the process of crossing several species of the plant, a third variation is most certainly going to be created. If you have an idea of the characteristics that you are hoping to see in a fresh strain, it will certainly help if you are able to source multiple plants for the ideal parts in the hope of achieving the desired qualities. Often you are likely to come across several different plants that appear to have dominant genes in certain areas, and this should mean that you are able to create the ideal species with just the one cross. In this process it is possible to interbreed two of the plants from a single batch for the desired seeds taken from the original cross. And this is likely to mean that recessive genes are available, and a referred plant quality might only be achievable by taking this approach. 

By and large, it is likely to be more beneficial to cross just two strains that are related and completely different. On taking this approach you are likely to be able to get something that is known as "hybrid vigor", which means that the most desirable strains are achieved by mating to adversely different plants. A poor quality plant might relate to prior interbreeding since this is often able to present recessive gene traits leading to a reduction in potency. 

Offspring from the hybrids are very likely to appear very diverse. Each of the cannabis plants reduced from a single batch of seeds taken from the one plant is likely to be quite different. It will help to try the various different plants to understand the individual qualities. If able to locate one species that is significantly better in quality in relation to strength, high yield, and flowering, then that is certain to be the used for future cloning and breeding.
